Sony releases firmware updates for the Dualsense and Dualsense Edge controllers that normally have to be updated either on Windows 10/11 or a Playstation 5. However, the restriction on updating can be circumvented. And it should be circumvented, to allow people that do not want or cannot run Windows 10/11 to update the firmware of the controller. Wifi and 4G HD voice calling in the Netherlands
In 2014 HD Voice is reviewed by Tweakers, now 3 years later I got the right equipment to finally be able to set it up. HD Voice is enabled via calling over 4G. HD Voice over 4G is supplied by various providers in the Netherlands. They tested for years, in late 2016 GSMHelpdesk reported that calling over 4G was stil almost impossible. Speedtouch 121g on Raspberry Pi Zero
So I have the Raspberry Pi Zero working with ethernet, but it would be much nicer if this was also available via wifi. The only wifi stick I had left around was a Speedtouch 121g which internally is a Intersil ISL3887. Luckily I found the firmware for it. Continue reading
