After nearly fifteen years after the last Hi-MD player was released Sony is setting up an Internet Archive page.
It includes almost everything they have around the software side of minidisc and other mp3 players with DRM rigged. It might be also a good time to finally open source the technology so people can rescue their beloved recordings (either music or voice recordings). Let’s hope this is the first step.
